Question: When will the CARE Award be presented?
Answer: The CARE Award will be given once a year during National Hospital Week, which is held annually in May. The criteria for selection will be outlined specifically for the committee to ensure a consistent method for reviewing the nominations. There will not be a CARE Award recipient for 2023 during National Hospital Week. This is going to serve as the official kick off of the program.
Question: How many CARE Award Recipients will there be a year?
Answer: There will be one CARE Award Recipient a year. It is at the discretion of the committee how many CARE Award Nominee Recognitions there will be. We do not want the efforts of the staff to go unnoticed if they have been recognized and scored at an extemporary level. However, to keep the CARE Award at a prestigious level, only one will be awarded per year. The Top CARE Nominees will also be announced during National Hospital Week.
